Generally mining equipment is affixed with 316 stainless steel plates as it is durable and long lasting.
We can also make them in anodised aluminium, mild steel, plastic, brass, etc., if preferred.
We recommend engraved plates with paint filling over laser etched options. Mainly as we believe they are the longer lasting option.
The second photo below depicts both a lasered label (on the left) and engraved labels. You will notice that the laser etched option is a lighter black than the engraved one, which uses black paint to infill the engraving.
Some companies opt for their stainless steel plates to be a different colour on the surface, rather than the natural silver look. These plates are outsourced for powder coating. Colours can be white, black, yellow, red, green or blue. Specific pantone colours cannot be matched with powder coating.
